Steel cord is a major component used for reinforcing a radial tire. Hyosung, which produces a steel cord with high tenacity and excellent fatigue resistance, provides customers with tires that are safer, easier to maintain, reduce fuel consumption, and longer-lasting, which are all key factors that have an impact on potential buyers. Active research and development efforts are being made to produce a steel cord to highly improve the performance of tires.
Features
Steel cord is stronger than fiber materials, have excellent heat resistance, fatigue resistance, with no contraction. Steel cord is a tire reinforcement material with the highest growth rate.
