Sewage ad waste water treatment
Hyosung Ebara Engineering boasts a track record that applies diverse treatment processes to various facilities in different scales, including the one in Gumi which adopted a biological treatment method for the first time in Korea. Based on experience and skills accumulated over decades of hard work, we are helping shape the future environmental business in many diverse areas. These include primary treatment projects using precipitation, secondary treatment projects using microorganisms, the reuse of treated water, advanced treatment projects to remove nutrient salts including nitrogen and phosphorus, sludge reduction and stabilization.

Purification
Hyosung Ebara Engineering has earned a name as a project leader in installing water purification facilities since it first completed the site in Myeongjang, Busan, in 1985. Its technological capability proved reliable at an international level when it resoundingly won a contract in Malaysia to construct a water purification facility in Selanger on a turn-key basis and then successfully fulfilled its task. The company also possesses world class technological capabilities in the area of highly efficient purification using filters, continually developing new innovative processes.

Treatment of steel mill wastewater
Treatment of steel mill wastewater involves treating water used for the cooling of equipment, material, material and products and the removing of scale as well as reusing treated water. This plays an important role in protecting the production facility and extending the lifetime operations of the facility as well as ensuring high quality and stable production. We have successfully completed a series of large scale projects for leading steel makers including POSCO, Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk Steel. Based on such success stories, we won a contract in Brazil in 2008 to install a coolant treatment facility for the COSIPA firm and are still working on the project.

Treatment for mineral water and deep sea water
Hyosung Ebara Engineering possesses a high level of expertise in building a treatment facility for mineral water, deep sea water and other beverages. Jeju Samdasoo, a brand of mineral water produced at a plant constructed by Hyosung Ebara on a turn-key basis, maintains the largest bottled water market share in Korea. It also successfully completed a project on a turn-key basis as well as building a state-of-the-art plant that can bring deep sea water and process it into healthy beverages.
