When an energy user desires to replace or complement its existing energy facility to save energy, but cannot, due to technical or economical burdens, a company can make an investment in such a facility that guarantees the energy conservation effect, and then retrieve investment costs and profits from the resulting energy savings for a specific period of time. Such company is called an ESCO.
  - User can install energy-saving equipment and save energy costs without the one-time burden of investment.
  - User can avoid technical risks that the investment entails.
  - ESCO provides professional service for energy conservation facility.
  - User can receive tax benefits.
  - Provides energy conservation management and service for energy using facilities.
  - Investment in the facilities of an energy conservation type.
  - Other business related to energy conservation (e.g., diagnosis of energy management status).
  - Savings resulting from the investment to an energy conservation facility are shared by a customer (facility user)
and ESCO through an agreement; and when the retrieval of the investment by ESCO is completed, the customer
    will possess the facility.
This service proposes the optimum plan for facility configuration and operation conditions by analyzing the actual energy consumption status per energy type (electricity, thermal energy, etc.) required by the customer facilities.
A system to recycle the heat of exhaust gas by recovering it, using an economizer, or air pre-heater, which can save fuel costs by 30-41% and prevent environmental pollution.
The motor which has materials and structures that have been changed to minimize the loss of a motor (e.g., core loss, copper loss, floating load loss, mechanical loss). The bigger the capacity, the greater the energy conservation effect becomes.
A system which controls rotation speed according to the voltage and frequency supplied to a motor depending on the load. This system is applicable to the air-conditioning system subject to a greatly varying load, pumps using a valve, and the control of the number of fan facilities that use a damper.
A system which makes ice using cheap midnight electricity, stores the ice in an ice storage tank, and melts the ice during the daytime for air cooling. This can save air cooling cost by 52% when compared to the traditional cooling system.
This is a system which is composed of air controlling and compression equipment without auxiliary devices, e.g., boilers, coolers, pumps, and piping to provide both heating and cooling function. It is appropriate for the area that has a small installation space where the heat and humidity controlling is very important.
This is related to replacement of stabilizer, fluorescent and other lamps with high efficiency products. This can save energy by over 35% compared to traditional ones, and KEPCO provides free support for this project.
Advanced equipment that uses a low-temperature (120~140ºC) recycled desiccant instead of high-temperature (220~250ºC) recycled desiccant, and also uses the hot air emitted from an air compressor for desiccant recycling. This device can reduce the amount of compressed air consumption and save the energy necessary to heat recycled air.
