Aseptic

First introduced to Korea by Hyosung, the aseptic filling system (AFS) is a high-tech beverage filling system that delivers drinks while maintaining their true flavors and aroma by preserving them in a state-of-the-art sterile facility.
Hyosung was the first to build an aseptic system production facility in Korea. This innovative Gwanghyewon plant has an annual production capacity of 315 million bottles. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and an integrated production system, which ranges from providing preform fabrication and PET bottle moldings, beverage mixing, filling and packaging services.

Aseptic Filling System (AFS)

Since beverages are not pasteurized at high temperatures over a long period of time, as a consequence, the nutrients in the beverages are not destroyed. The unique flavor and aroma of the beverages are preserved by immediately cooling the drinks after a quick pasteurization process. Hyosung also makes lightweight PET bottles to lower fuel costs and help to reduce the company’s overall carbon foot print.

Asepsys

Asepsys is an ‘aseptic filling system’ brand first introduced to Korea by Hyosung, to provide cleaner and sanitary PET drinks to consumers.
